TV Software Update Directions
Power on Upgrading
Copy the Upgrading File (SW) to a USB disk. (USB size 2GB-8GB formatted FAT-32)
Plug in the USB disk to TV, turn off the TV power then turn on the TV power. The update will begin and TV Power LED will start to flash.
The upgrade behavior/result will be indicated in the pattern of the TV Power LEDs flashing speed. (see below).
When completed – Unplug USB disk and unplug the TV, then Plug it back in and turn it on, the upgrade will finish.
NB: You may have to set some of the parameters of the TV post upgrade e.g. language preference, WiFi credentials etc. This is normal.
DO NOT TURN OFF OR UNPLUG THE TV DURING THE UPGRADE PROCEDURE TO AVOID DAMAGE TO THE TV DURING THE UPGRADE.
1） Upgrade TV Power LED Flashing Status Behaviour
You can judge the upgrade progress by flashing of the remote control LED light:
Upgrading: Red 1000ms Green 1000ms alternates, the TV set will turn to Upgrade succeed or Upgrade Failed status after the upgrading process has completed.
2) Main program upgrade Succeeded: Red 250ms (short interval) Green 250ms alternates, flashing before power off.
3) Main program upgrade Failed: Red 1750ms (long interval) Green 250ms alternates, flashing before power off.
Note: During upgrade process, the LED flashing timer software controls the flashing behavior. If the LED light is on solid when creating partition of flash, this is normal behaviour.
If the software upgrade fails – you can repeat the process.
Remember DO NOT UNPLUG THE TV OR POWER IT OFF DURING THE UPGRADE.
